What this club is

This club is Christian in its rooting, and we say that first and plainly so nobody discovers it three conversations in. Anyone is welcome regardless of what they believe or whether they believe anything, and nothing here is required to take part in anything else at Hope MetaVersity.

It is not a pulpit and it is not an argument. Bring your practice, your questions and your doubts. You will meet people who believe differently than you do, and the rules below are how that stays a conversation.

Everyone here is a member. Nobody here is your pastor. This is not pastoral care, counselling, or crisis support. If you are struggling, please talk to a real person — a pastor, a doctor, or a crisis line where you live.

This is a club, not a class

Nothing here is teaching and nothing here is education. There are no lessons, no tests, no grades, and no certificates. Members share their own experience with each other, and what any member says is that member’s own view — not Hope MetaVersity’s.

What is said in this club is not medical advice. It is not clinical training, not therapy, not counselling, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, a licensed counsellor, or a treatment programme. Taking part here does not qualify anyone to practise, diagnose, treat, counsel, or advise anyone else. Hope MetaVersity is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any hospital, transplant centre, treatment provider, or twelve-step fellowship.

What staff do here

Hope MetaVersity does not lead these conversations and does not check what members say for accuracy. Staff are here for one thing: to keep the exchange friendly, to hold everyone to the club rules, and to remove anyone who won’t be held to them.

The club rules

The same six in every club at Hope MetaVersity.

1. Share your own experience. Speak for yourself. Don’t tell anyone else what they should do.

2. No advice that belongs to a professional. No medical direction, no dosages, no diagnoses, no telling someone to change or stop a treatment. Point people to their own doctor.

3. What’s said here stays here. Don’t repeat what someone shares, and don’t bring in somebody else’s story without their say-so.

4. No accusations. Don’t name a person, a clinic, a treatment centre, or an organisation to accuse them of something. Take that where it belongs.

5. No selling. Not services, not products, not your own programme. Don’t ask members for money.

6. Be kind or be quiet. Disagree all you want. Contempt is where it stops.
